When we first started working with Ciara we had many issues surrounding bedtime and nap times. We had very inconsistent nap times which were lasting no longer than 30 minutes at a time.
Cooper needed to be held in order to fall asleep and stay asleep for nap times. Bedtimes were exactly the same as nap times and Cooper wouldn’t settle without having someone holding him to fall asleep or someone in the room with him once he fell asleep.
Meaning that one of us always ended up having to go to bed at the same time as him.
Cooper was waking up several times during the night and wouldn’t settle back to sleep unless held or unless one of us was able to give him his dummy.
This had left us very tired and with no time to do anything else in the evenings.
After some great advice, a plan put in place by Ciara and a new schedule established, Cooper now falls asleep on his own at nap times as well as bed times. He now has a consistent nap time schedule consisting of 3 hours throughout the day all on his own!
He’s able to fall asleep on his own at bedtime and we’re now at a stage where he only wakes up once for a bottle early in the night.
We no longer need to stay in the room with him once he’s fallen asleep and I can finally have some time in the evenings to sit with a cup of tea and I’m no longer waking up every hour during the night!
Ciara was so helpful every step of the way and was always there if we had any queries at any time. We were never left to just get on with things on our own.
